Hi all, I lost my RAV4 EV two weeks ago in a wreck so I’m in the market for another used EV/hybrid. I’d buy another one if I could find a decent one but the three available don’t meet my standards. I’ve found a well maintained ‘08 400h w/ low miles out of state. I’m a little concerned w/ battery life. I believe the owner is avoiding the TS & WP service. So I’m going into this assuming I’d need to do that. Any other mechanical known issues to consider?

Ive got an ‘05 GX and owned an ‘02 GS. I’m a fan of this gen Lexus. Hoping the 400h is as rock solid as these other rigs. The hybrid variant concerns me. I know the Highlander Hybrid users the 3MZ-FE as well. Hoping they fixed any bugs with this last model year of this gen. TIA!

Scope hybrid battery with Torque pro or Dr Prius app and BT dongle. Otherwise, they are very reliable cars. The usual mechanical inspection, of course. But outside of that, you need to check on hybrid battery state of charge. 12V is likely replaced or is getting there.
