Default 2006 RX400h Buttons not working

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2006 RX400h with an issue. The MENU, DEST and MAP/VOICE Buttons are not working. The CLOCK, DISPLAY, CLIMATE and INFO are working fine.

Anyone have a clue on what could be the issue?

Thanks!

I have the same car and the same problem. I think it might be a fuse problem though but I haven't been able to get any solutions yet.

Interesting. Our 2008 radio display will blank and the buttons will freeze. Especially when the dash is hot. Pushing the cassette eject button will bring it back. Obviously, the entertainment and navigation systems are totally different so that’s of no help to you. Is the navigation working? Even if the navigation is working, maybe try cycling the nav DVD out and in and see if that resets the system? I’d also try cycling all the buttons on the steering wheel That shouldn’t help, but you never know.

I do recall there being a way to get into the nav system system menu on here somewhere. Edit: Yeah, here you go. Read this thread and good luck…https://www.clublexus.com/forums/hyb...y-problem.html

Navigation system DVD player may be unplugged or broken.

if you unplug the biggest/first plug in the back of the DVD player under the back cargo, you should get the same effect.

perhaps the plug is unplugged there a bit and needs a wiggle.
