Anyone else have an issue with the EV indicator not coming on sometimes. I know I am in the EV mode as I can step on the gas a bit harder and feel/hear the motor starting. Does not happen all the time but just every once in a while.

 

I have felt the engine shutoff, then drive on battery and see the EV indicator off, then several seconds later it turns on. Seems like there was a huge delay before it figured it was in EV mode. It does not happen all the time, but every now and then.

 

Sorry, no, I haven't noticed any issues with the EV indicator. To be honest, I don't really look for it since I often switch back and forth to sport mode. But it's always gratifying to see that indicator when it does appear.

 

Same here. It happens a few times a month but it is rare and you have to be paying attention.

 

Yep mine only does it every once in a while. The graphic on the NAV screen will show power just coming from the battery to the wheels but the EV light may still not be on.

It is not an issue just wondering.
