cluster glass contrast

cluster glass contrast

anyone figure out, or better yet, just be able to see, what the rocker switch next to the display brightness rocker switch does?

thanx

You are talking about the blue hue cluster glass right? When set on auto it dims automatically based upon light hitting a sensor. Low creates a clear glass look. High has a blue tinted look to it.

mine never did anything! Do you think its useful? Wonder if it,s just a bulb?

It's a nice touch to see a dark blue tint when it is super sunny out. Set the setting to max and shine a light on the dash light sensor. (the little round thing in the middle of the dash) I believe it's the gauge cluster glass itself. Very similar to the boeing 787 airplane windows that add tint vs a pull down shade.
