the dealer was trying to sell theirs w/module
i usually use Krown on my vehicles, but the dealer said they didn't recommend this for the hybrid vehicles
is this because they drill holes to inject the stuff into the body panels?
or just the dealer trying to sell me theirs?

I don't understand why any modern vehicle needs any form of add on rust protection. Why do you feel that you even need it?

I agree about not needing rust protection. But who would ever be ok with drilling holes in panels of a vehicle.

Here's a rule of thumb:
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE FINANCE GUY!!!
Watch every single line on the contract. He will sneak in extra items unnoticed to improve his bottom line. That is his job. He is not your friend and all of services offered you can get much cheaper without the middleman.
