In California, the hybrid components are warranted 10 years, 150,000 miles.

In looking at the warranty manual, I could see no reference for any warranty on the hybrid system components being warranted past 8 years/100K miles ?
See pages 15-18, 28-31. Is there some other warranty info. outside this publication that speaks to 150K warranty ?

I looked over the entire warranty guide and it does address that California and certain other states get more warranty over the emissions control system, but it does not actually say 10 years/150,000 miles. I have no idea even though people online say that Cali gets the 10 year warranty.

The above speaks to Toyota used certified hybrids regarding the 10 year/150K for Calif emission standard States. Assume Lexus does that too for certified used hybrids. Not sure it relates to new vehicles ?

I went to check this and I can not confirm it right now. So I guess the 8 year / 100,000 warranty is it in CA until someone can confirm something longer. I know the California Air Resources Board has a separate set of regulations for the emissions system. They call it the 15 year / 150,000 requirement, but I don't know how that is implemented or covered by Lexus. Lexus just says if you fail an emissions test, request repairs at a Lexus repair facility.

The next time I go in for service, I will ask about the hybrid warranty. Sorry about the confusion. It is possible that I confused the Lexus and Toyota hybrid warranty coverage because my daughter and I spent a lot of time looking at Toyota hybrids for her. Here is a summary of that:
