After 7 weeks, and about 900 miles, I've finally broken through the 23 mpg barrier. We live on top of one of the highest points in our area, and can't get home without climbing a massive hill, otherwise I think I'd be getting at least another 2-3 mpg. I'm still pleased, as it's about 8 mpg more than my old car, and the number increases a little with each refill (3 so far). This is without using the ECO mode, though I may try that next.

 

try putting it in EV for your starts after a red light

 

Should continue to go higher as your break in the engine. Or at least that was the case with our 400h.

 

I switched to ECO mode, and have seen my MPG increase in the last two tankfuls: 23.5 and then 25.2. Plus, the RX now has about 1500 miles on it.
