A Good Wheel Protectant
I have been using turtle wax wheel protectant for about a year now and have to say Im very pleased with the results and thought I would share this info. As most have probably figured out the wheel design is a hard one to clean. I cleaned the wheels completely and then spay the wheel protectant on and you can almost hose off the dirt/break dust when you wash it. You will need to re-apply about ever 4-5 weeks to keep a good coat on it.
I'm still not a fan of painted alloy wheels, I like the wheels my wife has on her IS 250C. I like their finish much better than mine and they look better. I told her it's a good thing her wheels will not fit on mine. Whahahaha

Go with Sonax. Pretty cool, it turns from green to red when it hits brake dust. For me that's mostly inside the rim. I haven't been able to put on any wheel wax because of the weather
Hopefully soon. I agree with X about less brake dust. It's a beautiful thing

I have made a horrible mistake and you have my apologizes, but I was referring to the Armor-All wheel protectant. I bought the turtle wax car wash and had in on my brain. Please excuse the mis-quote.

I've been thinking about trying a small amount on the front bumber this summer to help keep the bugs from sticking. I figure it should not harm paint for the wheels are painted. What say you all??
