Hope this helps from the tech aspects of the LED Headlamp breakaway. If you happen to see the last image shot( sorry for the blurry shot taken from mobile ) but if you observe the first pillar collumn is around 40 feet and the last pillar collumn to the right is around 55 feet.

 

Just to continue on that, I have to say this the LS600 LEDs do suck, though they were the first to introduce into the Automotive industry, what they are lacking becoz of the bank ( bank of 3 LEDs with it's two illuminators is considered one bank) they become dim. The difference in R8 ( Full LED Headlamp High and Lows) was a bit different which was more to the chip technology using single array series built parallel. The difference has been outstanding. It just beats the Lexus in terms of Lighting output.The first image is the LS600 and the Second one R8. You guess is as good as mine, the results are obvious!!

 

thanks! i exhausted the research for the ls600h's led's already though. but thanks! btw your second picture is incorrect. These are the r8's LED headlamps (first picture is pre-production LED and second is final production-ready LED) but i assume that the picture exposures were different.

^^ either or. Bi xenons for $800 something and LEDs for a thousand more.
