Does anyone know if lexus uses a standard wiring harness in all of its RX models? I have 2 2008 RX 400h one base model and one fully loaded. I have found the parts from a wrecked fully loaded 2008 RX 400h which would bring my base model to the same comfort level and options level of my first 400h.

 

It depends on what parts your trying to transfer.

 

I want to upgrade the entire center instrument panel to the nav system console. I have found one from a wrecked 2008 400h

 

I don't know if this can be done, doesn't the center console space for fully loaded
and non fully loaded are different ? I saw a 2008 RX400h in Hong Kong last year it didn't have the screen or navi and it looks different from the RX400h that had nav screen, you are lucky to get your hands on wreck 08 RX400h. It might involve major surgery to get it done. by the way, can you do me a favor and pull the rear blue L emblem from the wrecked 08 RX400h ? I don't mind pay with some $$ depending on condition of the emblem
