The SC interior is nicer to me but the GS design is clearly newer. The GSh is faster, handles just as good/better, has newer tech and you actually gain a bigger trunk (rare for the GSh to say lol). Did I mention better MPG as well.
You do lose the wonderful droptop but you gain the hybrid tech. Good luck

Go for it!
Granted, you can't drive around with the top down in the h but it sure is a lot of fun to drive. If you can get a GS 450h with the optional APSSS it DOES make a difference in handling.
AND coming from an SC you might not mind the fact that with APSSS you get run flats and no spare.

I agree I have a gs450h with "Power Active Vehicle Stabilizer" and it handles great you will not be sorry and I think runflat tech is finally starting to get where it does not ride so rough and wearout so fast. I even saw Michelin has a runflat with a 45,000 mile warranty the "Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP" as far as I know that is the only run flat with a mileage warranty.

I always considered the GS 450h to be the third fastest behind the IS 350 and the F but it depends on the metric you're using to define fastest.
I'm going by 0 to 100 km/hr and 1/4 mile from a dig.
From a roll I have no idea to be honest.

Hi,
go for it and get the hybrid.
It is lovely silent, consumes less fuel and has the most modern
hybrid technic on board....!!!
Once driven you dont want to miss the power again....

executive matchup
GS450h is reported to do 0-60 mph in 5.2 sec, which i believe is faster than the IS350

Cool. Yeah the GS 450h is a beast no doubt. Very elegant also.
It's got some of the elegance/panache/interior luxury of the LS while still maintaining performance.
What do you all think of the GS 460. In my opinion without receiving the 380 hp motor of the LS, the GS 460 is a completely failed concept.
Its role should be to provide more performance (although at a cost of less fuel efficiency) than the GS 450h. Somehow it manages to produce the same if not less performance at the same if not worse MPG than the 450h.

The recently debut next generation Infiniti M56 is capable of at least 400+ hp. Infiniti will have the M37 and M56 both look very promising. There is no hybrid version of an Infiniti so Lexus is a step ahead there.
Since the new 2010 HS 250h sports the new hybrid grill and recent spy shots of the 2010 LS 600h L has a hybrid grill as well I am not looking forward to the new hybrid grill for the GS 450h.
Hopefully the 4GS line will be promising and a surprise. Hope to get:
GS 350 (350 hp)
GS 460 (400 hp)
GS 450h (375 hp)
GS F (500 hp)
