i am amazed by how sexy and fast this car is.

 

anyone have squealing problems when braking. if so how did you fix it and yes the brakes are newly changed 45 days old.

welcome to CL! yeah, squeaky brakes are one of the things the 3GS has that bugs us all. i'm assuming your car is either new or still has warranty left - in either case, take your car back to the dealer and ask for non-squeaky brakes (there is a TSIB for this).

the problem with the replacement pads is that your brakes will still squeak ocassionally. your only alternative would be to go with aftermarket brake pads that are quiet. do a search on the 3GS forum and you'll see what some of our members have done to get no squeaky brakes.

I got the squeaky braks too, but I just figured it would wear away over time. Perhaps changing the pad would be a good idea..

My brakes only squeaked when they needed replacing...they don't squeak otherwise....the front pads do make the front rims dirty quick though

 

Picked up a 2008 Black-opal mica/Black GS450h with ML/Nav in March. Great car. I live in Northern Virginia.
