Question Hybrid RX vs RX.

Does anyone test out this new '10RX450? How's the ride?

If we compare 450 and 350, what's the big difference between 2 cars on handling/riding/accelerating? The transmission also makes the driving huge different, right?

I was never driving SUV-like Hybrid vehicle in the past, and wondering how you guys feel. 10 years ago, I test-drove Toyota's NHW10 model, I couldn't stand that type of riding...

Now, I'm thinking if it's only $4k difference, it's good idea to check it out if it's really good.

Thanks so much for all your advice.

I think you're right.

I'm just curious...

Someone driving Hybrid many years may get sense from other reviewers...

Ah... I may just pick 350...

Hybrids not worth it.

Get the gas engine. It's cheaper, almost as economical, and you can get it right now.

After researching many threads and articles, I probably won't like Hybrid... dunno.

As for 350, I'd love to get HUD and power-folding outsides mirrors, and they're usually found with Lux package. However, it's so hard to get this pak in NE region... should I wait and ask dealers to get the car from South?

Or just wait for a few month and do the special order...

You'll probably have to order it.

They are pretty rare everywhere.

It is only money and you can make more of that tomorrow always get the car you want. You have to pay for it and have to dive it for the next 3 to 4 years or longer.

RX to me is the valued car. In my point of view, it's worth to spend this amount of money to get it.

Right. If I plan to get it, I will try to get it right. It seems Hybrid isn't the vehicle fit for me at this moment.

Thanks all.

my 400h gets 26mpg highway and up to 29mpg city. i cant hate that, esp knowing that gas prices will go back to $3+/gal this summer.

i say wait until the 450h comes out in the summer. test drive it, then decide if the 450h is right for you. worst case scenario is you buy the 350 but you really prefer the 450h...quite a few people buy the first car and end up not liking it as much as the other one

Thanks for all the links...

Lexus keeps saying it's going to be quieter. But, lots of RX drivers and magazine reviewers have said it's not... sigh.
