Default Attach License Plate Bracket Lower?

Hey Folks,
I love the look of the front end of the Hybrid RX but I don't like the way the front license plate blocks the view of the mid-bumper air intake.

Is there a way to lower the plastic mounting frame down so the top edge of the plate is at the bottom edge of the air intake? IMO, the plate spoils the good looks of the front end.

I don't know about lowering the license plate bracket. Mine was "grabbed" by the brand new Lexus car washing system! They said that the bracket isn't sturdy. If you lower it won't it be more susceptible to being mangled?

I thought the same thing about the air intake area. So I flipped the bracket and it drop the plate to clear air intake area!

don't think it will make a difference, but at lease it looks better! =-)
