Welcome to CL, george1688!

Have you looked at the 2-tone interiors? They are exclusive to the LS 600h Ls and IMO look very, very nice.

I like your exterior color choices; the 2-tone might work well with smoky granite or truffle mica. For mercury metallic maybe a 1-tone...or 2-tone.

I would like the Alabaster interior more if it comes with the lighter walnut wood trim instead of the dark brown ash burl . . .

. . .& they still won't let their customers order whatever wood trim they like to go with the interior color for a $100K+ car

I didn't study the color chart (shame on me ) but you still can't get the blackwood with black interior like the regular 460L? Only in the gray interior right?

That's what I would go for

I also thought that smoky granite mica would be one of the best colors until I saw it in person on the car. Apologies to those of you who have it, but I thought it was a total *yawn*. That color of gray looks much better on the Acura TL or previous generation IS. It's too boring for a car the caliber of the new LS.

I have not seen them. They look great! One thing i dont like about the beige colors are because the buttons which are black don't blend with the interior. I would still prefer a black interior.

Are these 3 pics of the LS in Truffle Mica?
Can someone answer my question? Please.

I believe those 3 are Truffle Mica. For sure they aren't Mercury Metallic, and the Smokey Granite has more black in it IIRC.

Marshmallo took a pic of an indoor Truffle Mica here:

This being an all black interior for the LS 600h L:

I'm afraid I would have to agree. Grey (in any shade) is the LAST color I would choose for such a fine automobile. I would choose either a white or black exterior with a black interior.

I saw a Smoky Granite LS460L on the road just a couple days ago & it looks great to me , as good as the black ones I saw before.
Another great color that seem to get overlooked by some is the Black Sapphire, looks great on the LS in person, a beautiful paint

Based on what I've seen in person so far. I would pick Black Sapphire, Smoky Granite & Noble Spinel Mica before Obsidian Black for the LS. Had they offered the Diamond Black(exclusive to the 2005 PBE SC430 special edition) for the LS460/600, then maybe it will be a different story.

The worst paint color on the new LS (& probably any Lexus model) has to be the Golden Almond Metallic, I saw an executive package with this color in the showroom a couple weeks ago, it looks yucky

Thanks for the picture. Truffle Mica looks great! Its a very unique color I do agree that smoky granite mica can be boring and that mercury metallic is too common.

I voted for Mercury Metallic but Truffle Mica would be my second choice, or maybe first if I saw it in person. I've seen Mercury Metallic and think it's great too.

Currently Truffle Mica and Black Opal are exclusive to the LS 600h L in the US.

I had forgotten that pic from last year's NY Auto Show.

About Truffle Mica... It did not make a great impression on me probably
because I loved the Briarwood Pearl color on the outgoing LS430 so
much

The Smoky Granite makes more of an impression but it does run the
risk of being "played out". Truffle Mica would be a much more rare
color, which is good in that sense.
