Default LS600hL now delayed until June 2007

I went by Glendale Lexus yesterday while bike riding this weekend to check on the status of my LS600hL order and the sales manager said that they had a meeting with coorporate and that the LS600hL won't ship until June of 2007. I hope they are wrong. It was hard enough knowing I was going to have to wait until April... now June?? What's a guy without patience going to do

I don't understand. So far both launches of the RX400h and the GS450h were delayed for several times. And now the LS600hL will be too? What exactly is holding them back?

These cars are the most Complex Lexus ever, and maybe the most in the world (or with the most in the world). I would rather them wait and sort things out than rush and sort things later.

The 600L h is THE Lexus. This is a giant opportunity to grab people who still haven't bought or considered a Lexus.

Well 'good things happen to those who wait' ...I'm disappointed to hear this too, but maybe they're just delaying to make sure that fewer glitches occur with this 'world's most technologically advanced car.'

Haha all right. As long as they launch it before the Taste of Lexus next year and let me drive it, I'm all good.

seriously, if they are having some last minute issues and want to delay it only for several months, by all means. rather get a car that's error free (relatively) than bugful...

if it's delayed by a yr, now that's not good
