Wednesday nite on a trip from NJ to MA The VSC icon, ,the alert icon,Check engine light and scrolling information lights came on, saying check AWD, Check Hybrid Drive and check VSC.
The power schematic shower no response from the rear electric motor, on acceleration or breaking.
At 11:30 at night with a car full of stuff I was not about to pull over and the car seemed to be running OK as a FWD 400H, so I took it easy for the next 75 miles to my destination.
The next morning I took it to Lexus of Norwood who reset the codes and all seems to be OK.
A special Tech was called, but can't get up here till Tues, so they are rescheduling an appointment for my dealer in NJ.
Anyone else have a similar experience?

 

I would suspect a computer control failure. The error is stored; the 400h specialist will be able to determine the cause....

Follow up on the problem, even if it doesn't fail again.

 

I have seen similar on other cars. Actually my Saab once lit up every gear indicator at once, since I was still moving forwards towards home, I figured that the transmission was good and the computer burped. Once I reset the error code all was good.
