I’m touching a base with the forum seeking information how and where (service-wise) to proceed with fixing the passenger side of my 2011 RX 450h. I have been “hit & run” at Lincoln, CA 95648 on the top of my 77-birthday yesterday and the almost monopoly shop in our area, Caliber Collision shop gave me the most expensive estimate exceeding $10K, which of course I declined. I’ll appreciate any body work advice on the matter, including name of auto body shops that can fix the damage (both passenger side doors are closing/opening just fine), and the vehicle is driving normally. Caliber Collision is a national chain. We have them in VA.

However if it was my vehicle, considering its age and value, I would first get some clear coat rubbing compound to remove all the paint transfer and see what it looks like then. If the doors open and close okay and there are no leaks, I would then consider not investing much money in further repairs as it simply is not worth it. Maybe just touching up the paint afterwards. I did this for a friend on her 2018 Honda Fit. From 20 feet away you cannot tell.
Or price out 2 white replacement doors as they have most of the damage, then have a shop swap doors moving over your interior panels. Rancho Used Lexus Parts may have them.

I found two times cheaper auto body shop quote than the major auto body chains. So case is closed. I’d delete my post but the very user-unfriendly Lexus Club site navigation is preventing this and other obvious actions.
