Hybrid TechnologyUnique topics related to the 2023 up RX model hybrid drivetrain and other features/options found only on the hybrid models. Please use the main forum for discussion about shared components with other fifth generation RX models.
Wanted to quickly share this, still in the process of customizing a few settings but the MID graphics for the hybrid status (left graphic with engine/wheels/battery) is quite different than what is in our NX350H that I'm used to. Maybe the RX350H's are different with the new MID with more eco-conscious graphics. Not necessarily bad for 500H, but different and smaller. With the 2025 RX MID's, for the center, seems like it can only configure it to "Driving Support, Navigation system-linked display, Message, or Blank" as stated on page 89 of the manual. Eco/Power meter (since this is a 500H) is also different since it's less eco-conscious, but general meter is the same. Refresh rates are excellent, thankfully no lag. It's basically the same MID as from the TX.
Doesn’t look like a display for a Lexus. I am not sure why Lexus refuses to implement MID’s commensurate with the cost of the vehicle and the luxury nameplate. Also a lot of wasted space.
The best config I have seen for the new MID is the dual gauges.

Definitely agree. I knew coming in it would be like nothing how Audi does it with their virtual cockpit with the full maps and customization, but I like how it's all digital now for better or worse. I've played around with the dual gauge configurations and looking at some screenshots from the TX550H+ it's pretty much the same with no other visual flair. Assume this is going to be the same for the RX350H, unless they add more visual flair to the EV gauges but doubt it after looking at the owner's manual since it applies to both 350H and 500H. Maybe there's the potential for future updates, but who knows.
