PCS System Operation
My 2022 NX 350h just had a service recall for intermittent PreCollission System operation. I have never felt this PCS was as good as my 2018 RX and had it checked twice before the service campaign. (It was deemed to be functioning properly.) If the RX got close to anything at any speed, the car applied the brakes - hard and fast. Not so in the NX 350h. The only aggressive braking I experience is at low speeds when I intentionally test it pulling into my garage. The RX PCS system protected me from animals running in front of the car, other drivers behaving badly and the like. I want this feeling of safety in my NX. Or is that wishful thinking?
