Hybrid or non hybrid for longevity
Hi guys!
I'm contemplating between two cars right now:

Pretty similar cars, I want something that will last me at least 15+ years or something. The hybrid being $10k more and me driving 6000km a year, it would be like 5 years before I get the petrol savings which would probably be time for a new battery anyway. If it does get a new battery in a few years, is it likely to keep going another 15?
I'm imagining mad-max apocalypse time, would the hybrid still cut it or does good old petrol win here?
Thanks
