Coilovers ? or Lowering Springs and struts

I want to lower my HS. Should l go with Tein Coilovers or lowering springs? This is a daily driver, it will never see the track. I want to keep the ride close to stock.

Who makes lowering springs? I am surprised Tein even makes coilovers for the HS considering how few of them were sold in the US. Who sells all this stuff? Springs are usually much cheaper than coilovers and would be my choice for a daily driver.
If you get lowering springs you may cause your factory struts & shocks to fail earlier as they may not be able to handle the lowering. However, I am unsure if anyone makes aftermarket struts & shocks. I do recall the rare Touring model has stiffer struts & shocks than the Premium & base which have the same suspension.

Let me know if you find anything that works. I've wanted to lower mine a half inch

I think the rare Touring model has stiffer struts and shocks which you can order from one of the many online discount OEM Lexus parts sources. That may be an option if you cannot find lowering springs but want to improve handling.

I've seen a few videos of people custom installing BC coilovers on cars like these. You have to do some minor fab work. I was just hoping to find atleast one company making aftermarket springs

Not enough US sales volume for an aftermarket company to invest in developing parts. They were only imported for 3 years and sales were very low. There may be Japanese market parts as production continued in Japan.
