Welcome to CL. Yes, I have used MAG 1 low viscosity full synthetic ATF in my HS250h (it is in there now) and it runs exactly the same as with Toyota WS. Plus MAG 1 is full synthetic, unlike WS, and is much cheaper! 6 packs at Amazon for $32!
I have also been using it in other vehicles that take WS ATF and it works even better than WS.
The HS transaxle is a simple drain and fill. It holds about 4 quarts. You just fill it up until fluid comes out the fill hole. Same trans as the Camry Hybrid. https://www.greenhybrid.com/forums/f...-change-28564/
