Default Great Depreciation!

My wife bought a beautiful 2014 Nissan Altima 2.5 SV fully loaded last August. I guess we got a decent deal at about $24300 out the door. If it weren't for her getting a 1.79% interest rate she would be so far upside down because this darn car is only worth about 16-17k! And since she's overseas and it's not being driven it only has 9400 miles. When I look at the 2010 HS's value, it's about $14500 or so. How the heck are the values that close together when the HS is almost 6 years old and the Nissan 1 year old?? By the way, I love my HS!

I'd would have guessed a little more than $14,500 for the HS.

When new the HS cost about $10,000+ more than the Altima.
