Thought I would post this little mod I did to my HS. I had one of these in my previous car and really liked it. It keeps my phone in an easily reached location, charges the phone and allows capability to plug into either the USB port or the charger port. It requires no drilling, no glueing, and I actually did some quick cosmetic work to somewhat hide the charger wire. I ran it under the upper console trim (those trim pieces pop right out) and out the other side to drop down to the charger. I may attempt hardwiring once the weather breaks. This is from a company called ProClip. The mount is made car-specific so it's not a sloppy looking retrofit. In fact, they make mounts for 1000s of cars and trucks and for virtually any type of phone. Reasonable pricing, too. Since our cars are sooooooooooooo limited on extra cargo space, I find this a very attractive alternative to sitting my phone in the center cupholder or leaving it in my coat pocket. One other thing, if you order from them, use SAVETEN at checkout to save an additional 10%.

In the meantime, the website is www.proclipusa.com and once you get there, you can choose from a variety of mounts depending on your phone type and whether or not you have a case, a slim case or a fat case. There are two separate pieces you have to buy - the mount and the phone holder. The item number for the mount for our cars is 854409. Unfortunately, it's the only option we have (some cars have two or more places you can put a mount). The holder is entirely dependent upon your phone but the website will walk you though all that. I have an iPhone 5S and the holder I have is item # 521502. Take a look around and see what you think. Actually, when you put the car model info in, it'll show you a pretty good picture of what the mount looks like but I'll still try to add a pic over the weekend.
