So, I've been pondering updating the car's nav data pretty much since I bought the thing (original 2009 data, large chunks of the city are missing/wrong)
At ~$300 to buy and 'install' (don't get me started on installing a USB update), the ivic is looking like a bargain, bigger cost, but only need to do it once and up to date mapping data forever.

Anyone given the droid version a try yet?

I'm personally an Apple guy but was thinking I could throw a cheap android phone/tablet in the car and tether it to my iPhone for data access.
There's also an Apple version coming..

Wow. Looks really nice and looks like something I'd be interested in. But I noticed the HS 250h was absent from the comparability list. Have you called or emailed them to see if it'll work for us?

2010-2012 HS Mode 1, no self park or I think the front Camera, but I'm not sure on that one.
(and I don't have the front camera anyway) We're a series 6 nav system.
