Where is the Navigation Computer / HDD located

Is it part of the radio head unit, or is it a separate piece?

I'm thinking it's probably a flash drive or SSD. If it was a mechanical drive, I would have thought there would be an ability to save mp3's to a jukebox, since a 30G hard drives were dirt cheap in 2010.

Just map data alone is probably under 8G, and even 16G of flash was pretty cheap in 2010.
