Has anyone tried darkening the chrome trim around the fog lights? It seems to me that painting the plastic part of the grill flat black (but keeping the bright chrome outline) and perhaps doing something to the bright chrome around the fog lights might help the appearance of the car. Or maybe I am dead wrong. I know that something needs to happen to make the front end look better, and I suspect that a minor change could make a major impact.

Curious if anyone has tried that, or perhaps photo-shopped something like that. Or what the more visually gifted forum members would suggest.
