My Son Won a 2010 HS 250h
take the car, pay the 9k, put it on ebay/autotrader/craigslist for a few grand under what the dealer is selling them for and sell it then let him buy a car that might actually get him a date
You guys are missing the point. It's a freaking Lexus. So what, it's an HS, women arn't into what you drive anyway. Women look at the person in the car not the car itself.
The HS is better than what he was driving before. Besides if anything it will be like icing on the cake. Imagine a girls reaction when you go on the first date and they find out you have a drive a Lexus. A car shouldn't be used as tool to get dates.

BTW you gotta be kidding me right? take my fat *** and put me in a MCLAREN F1 and then take ANY good looking guy lets say Fabio for the sake of argument and put him in a yugo, chevy chevette,AMC pacer, or a ford pinto and see who takes home the girl

Cars don't help get girls. "It's not the ride, it's the rider"
All jokes aside, Congratulations on the car, it shouldn't matter what kind of Lexus it is if he isn't even into cars. What do you mean you arent sure if it's the right car for a 22 yr old?

The majority of women out there arn't turn on just by what car you drive.
im not sure what fictional world you live in but i guarantee if i was driving a MCLAREN F1 and Fabio was driving a Yugo and we were both trying to pick up the same women, that chick would be coming home with me 9.9 out of 10 times
Most girls don't really pay attention to the model of the car. They'll see the Lexus badge and be impressed. But then again, it's the person that counts, not necessarily the car.
Back on topic; Congrats to the OP for WINNING a car!

pay the tax and resell the car in the paper or something...get other lexus models....HS is NO good, dealer here in NY having such hard time to sell them.....i mean the gas is GREAT....but not so many people like them......
haha..by the way....most girls will go home with the MCLAREN F1....even just go for a ride.....haha

Even though the car won't attrack (or deter) the chicks, the bottom line is that your son will enjoy the 35mpg in these times of $3+/gal gasoline.

If its an hs premium those have amazing interiors! With the mouse pad type of command center. I would keep it if possible and if it doesn't give you any problems. Those hybrid cars can be a pain. Amazing gas mileage, Lexus quality, and 2010 styling. What more could you want for almost free.
