This has been discussed about a million or so times all over the internet and in this forum too. I have a degree in Chem and Chem E, did some work in the petro industry in the past, etc. The people getting extra miles from Premium are the same ones that get 20hp because they drop in a K&N filter..haha.. Anyway, car that require Premium require it because they usually have high compression so they need the extra octane to prevent knocking, but even if you don't use Premium the computer adjusts the timing to compensate, you just lose a little horsepower, very little. Using premium in a car that doesn't require it like the HS can actually do more harm theoretically, cause the engine and timing is calibrated for regular. It probably won't harm it in real life but for practicallity sakes, it justs wastes money. Even if you didn't care about the costs or just wanted to use Premium, it could actually be bad for the car in theory. I'm all for taking care of my car, I use Zaino wax and only use full synthetic in all my cars, even my Honda fit, I put in full syn 0W-20 even though I can use cheap dino but in this case, I use regular in my HS.

Premium in a car spec'd for regular is a total waste of money.

Premium gas is much cheaper then the other but its mileage is too minimum as I have experienced.

Not smart to use premium, when manual specifies regular. It is one of the advantages that go with the HS250h,why defeat it.Doesn't make any sense at all!

Even if there were a tiny improvement in mpg, it wouldn't make up for the extra cost, nor the extra petroleum and refining needed to make the premium. Premium in the HS is a waste all around - hurting the environment as well as your wallet.

14 years ago, new is US, I bought a new Camry and not knowing anything better (internet was not so available at that time ), started using Sunoco Ultra 94! (well gas was only $1.10 at that time). But after several months, after a discussion with a friend, I tried regular several time and did not notice any difference in mileage at all.

I'm forced to use Premium on my Acura MDX though - it requires premium and starts knocking on regular
