speaking of the HS250h and Ford, the HS250h was reviewed (sort of) on MotorWeek this week. and one of the things they said was the grille was Ford like.
they praised it's flatter than expected handling, its performance, and (gasp) its looks.
they criticized its less than impressive fuel economy, the cheaper seeming than expected interior trim bits, and the lack of a fold down rear seat.
they started out by calling it a 'posh prius'.
overall a fairly positive review, but they didn't do performance tests or give pricing.

I'm going to Tarrytown on the 28th.
Judging from the pictures I dont think HS250h is that ugly. Certainly isnt pretty, but quite frankly, not good looking.
I am however disappointed in the interior and choice of engine. Lexus should really start building interiors to their pre L-finesse standards, and IMO they should've used the V6 engine from the current IS250, perhaps add direct injection to it along with the hybrid drivetrain, and call it HS300h. If they used this engine they could've potentially extended it into ES and GS lineup as well.

Agreed. It's just too tall looking. Sure you get more interior headroom, but it doesn't look good.

Calling the HS250h a Corolla from an internet picture based perspective is pretty ignorant. See and experience the car in person before you judge it.
