Fugly. But it might do okay in Japan and the rest of Asia where boxes with premium interiors seem to do alright. I doubt it would help the Lexus brand in any of its current markets, however. Is Lexus still having problems battling the Germans for perception on its home turf?

On the topic of other luxury hybrids. I read that the S class hybrid will only have a 270 HP V6 (the 3.5L I presume, DI that thing already and catch up) and then a 20 HP electric motor (weak). Im not too optomistic of this thing outshining the LS600h, considering that the E350 only gets 17/24 and its a lighter vehicle than the S class.

dave, holiday auto, and i forget the other one but the 300yen car mag was only good for entertainment purposes on the train ride to school for me. but their articles had great trivia stuff though, like they went on finding what the longest car name was lol.
