Hit & Run - Body shop needed
#16
+1 for ACME. I had my mom's ES done there and i was really impress with the work. Not to mention they also do LOTS of lexus there. Im guessing they also have an account with Servco? Anyhow cool people there and they give free estimates.

usually, the insurance company will do their own estimate on the damage. then you take that estimate to the body shop of your choice, and if the body shop thinks he/she should get more money for doing this job, then the body ship will contact the insurance company and tell them why they should get more money/time for doing the job... thats usually how it works.... thats IF you are able to find out who did the hit and run, they will end up paying in the end.
if you havent taken it to any shops yet, id recommend JL Autobody Works. does great quality work. how do i know? i used to work for him. JL is a recommended shop from the insurance company, the insurance company will give you a list of recommended shops that they deal with, and JL is on of them. im not saying all this to help joel out with business, his quality speaks for itself....

Update:
So I ended up taking it to Global Auto Repair which was recommended by my insurance. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that one of the manager owned a black SC400 as well. He took extra care upon working on my SC and did an excellent job!
I'll let pictures do the talking.
The antenna is damaged and no longer functions.. I do have a brand new set but I'm also considering S2000/MDX stubby antenna for an updated look. 6ft long antenna screams 90's too much for me. Inputs???
