iPhone v2
I was wondering why everyone was standing in line at Ala Moana. But then again, I don't even have an ipod
That being said my cousin got a free touch screen one when he bought his notebook. I looked at it, its interesting, but not for me.
I actually never plan on getting one even if my carrier eventually decides to carry it( slim ). I was never impressed with the first one, then again I'm used to PocketPC's. Function over form. No offense to anyone that digs the iphone or ipod.

From what I hear, the Apple stores had a lot of them in stock. They also were supposedly going to stay open until everyone in line had been served.
I hear their server went down and so the line moved even slower than usual. They were open until something like 3 AM?
All hearsay, so I can't vouch for the information though. Maybe George can corroborate?
I don't have an iPod either. Considered it a few times, but then again I never really made any use of the Sony Network Walkman I bought years ago. And the iPhone is really heavy. Maybe v2 is lighter?
Oh, and I thought about it. My plan is currently $50/month. If I wanted to enable the internet connection it would be another $30/month, so the iPhone contracts aren't so crazy expensive.

My coworker stood in line for 3 hours (Not sure which location) and they ran out. He was pretty bummed. Can always get the iPhone later, but wasted 3 hours.
