2007 rses ?
Is there anyway to load a DVD in the front changer located in the Glove box and have it play in the rear flip down screen? I can only seem to get those DVD's loaded in the changer to play on the dash screen. I can make the ones loaded in the flip down screen play on the front but not vice -versa. Am I missing something?

RT..what seems is that you have a "Lock down function" of the AUDIO/VIDEO telematics on the NAV system. All you need is to unlock this feature for the RSE.
Do these steps.
1. Press the info button to display the "Information" screen on the Nav unit.
2. Now press the "Screen Setting" touch button on the Nav Display.
3. Under the "Rear Lock"option press the "OFF" touch button and then press "OK" in the upper right part of the Display screen.
4. Now press the DVD switch on the RSE system (now if a DVD is NOT already in the player, insert one and confirm the screen is "ON" and system will play the DVD.

Unfortunately, that still didn't work. The rear DVD lock funtion was already set to "off" but I reconfirmed all the steps. I still can't view DVD's loaded in the Glove box changer on the rear flip down?

I presume it should be somewhere between the DVD player and the Nav unit RSE ECU. If you are under warranty, I suggest you goto the dealer, otherwise not then you can do the wire resistance continuity checks. They should read as 1Ω. Anything below this value, that mean the harness is at fault. Also there is an option on the NAV unit to get into the Diagnostic method, I can't remember on top of my head, you could try that also.

Just wanted to check before I make a trip tp the dealer. Has anyone else had success playing DVD's loaded in the glove box on the rear screen. I feel like there is probably something I'm doing wrong as opposed to a problem with the car.
