Overtrail + Only Trim to Get
Here's the problem with this video; it's the Premium.
Firstly, I don't anticipate that the Premium trim is "the one that most people are going to get" - as this video suggests, the Premium trim is simply an odd duck. It doesn't really serve a GX 'purpose' and does not fit in many people's expectation of the vehicle - it's too expensive for what it is. Unless you're tuning the car for off-road, and rebuilding the suspension from scratch (new suspension) - the premium trim doesn't really make sense.
This was on the GX Forums - but if this is true, this means that the entire Premium line (P/P+ and all bench configs) only make up 1/4 of the sales estimates.

Overtrail/+ with EKDSS makes up 40%, with Luxury/+ making up 35% of the remainder.
Secondly, the fact that there is almost no reviews of on-road performance of the Luxury+ with AVS, makes that ride a dark horse.
I've placed a deposit for the Lux+ (Executive, in Canada) because it's the only model with a pano roof and digital rear-view mirror. It also comes with AVS.
IF Lexus had the Digital Rear-View mirror, full leather and Pano roof for the Overtrail/+, I would get that one.
So, in short, we don't have a proper comparison between the AVS and EKDSS, and that Lexus doesn't really believe that the Premium would be their top mover. Base trims are rarely the case.
Just my 5 cents.

I think if you need the pano and digital rearview, you probably not going to off-road the vehicle. So Luxury+ is the right trim for you.
Really hope they will bring out the luxury+ with bench seat on 2nd row. Because we use our second row seating a lot and need the bench seats. 3rd row is a nice to have. With captain chair 2nd, we’ll be forced to use the 3rd row which isn’t that great.

I personally want the Premium+ trim. I have an offroad truck (Silverado TrailBoss) and it's a pavement princess 99% of the time. My GX will be too. No need for the Overtrail and Luxury is more money for not much more in features (IMO anyways).

Overtrails has AVS standard as well
It's the eKDSS and the 18s that gives it a better ride both on road and off road. If your roads are glass smooth picture perfect, then the other trims will suffice. Those 22s are really too big and don't allow for enough rubber, hence a harsher ride.
