The TPMS ECU should be on the drivers side quarter panel by the taillight.

Just a quick look, on the GX460, they ground the (blue) signal wire . The TPMS light is off if the signal is below 1.5V
on the 13 GX460 The signal wire R2-5 (yellow) needs a 3.2V or higher for the light to be off.

Default Tire pressure receiver

My wife just got her 13 GX back from the repair shop. Rear bumper replacement, but the tire pressure light is always on, was not on when dropped off. All tire pressures are good (including spare) is the receiver for the sensors in the rear and possibly didn’t get hooked back up? Had all the actual sensors replaced with new tires a couple months ago. Thanks.

Receiver is under the rear headliner and TPMS ECU is in the left rear fender above tail light

Disabling TPMS on a 460 seems more difficult than on 470 (Which only required splicing a wire a grounding it). Has anyone successfully disabled their TPMS?

Lightbulb HOW TO: Disable TPMS dash light (TPMS Delete)

My 2011 GX460. I bought aftermarket wheels without tire pressure monitor. I have the annoying tire pressure warning light on dash. If you're shopping for winter wheels, you can consider saving money by not buying the tire pressure monitors.

The signal needs to be 3.2v or higher for the dash light to remain off. There is a 5v antenna power source right next to the signal wire. We'll be using this 5v power source to trick our signal wire.
The TPMS computer is behind the driver side tail light.

Step 1: Remove the cargo net hook and the screw behind it.
Step 2: Pull back the plastic trim (held on by clips)
Step 3: Remove the 10mm bolt holding the TPMS unit
Step 4: Open the unit
Step 5: Solder pins 5 & 6 together
Step 6: Put everything back together

Alternate method: This job can be done without a solder iron. You have to join wires 5 and 6 together.
Peel back the insulation on wires 5 & 6 and jumper the two together. NOTE: Different model years have different color wires. Your wires may be different color than mine, but the position is the same (2010-2019).
DO NOT Cut the two wires to join them; the signal and 5v wires MUST reach the TPMS unit. Join the wires by splicing both of them and joining them with another short wire.

You can also join these wires via a switch if you want the option to turn on/off TPMS.
Adding a switch may be useful if your summer tires have TPMS but your winter tires do not.
Or if you like to air down for off-road trails, and only need the light disabled for trail use.

I wish you could have posted this just two weeks ago! But thanks! Just bought 5 new sensors for my 2012 because I was replacing tires.

Excellent work though!

Great find!!!

I have no interest in defeating mine but this is great info for those that want to.

PN: 89769-60050

I see basic use in 10-18... no reason to think 2019 wouldn't be included. The years parts are used aren't always updated and complete.

2020+ uses a revised TPMS system so that would be subject to someone testing mod out.

Default Thank you!!!

I’ll do it; I’ve got aftermarket wheels and the display is annoying! U da man!

UPDATE: So easy!!! Thank you my brother; hated that damn light... now if you could only tell me how to get rid of the “ECO” light?!
