And ensure they understand what punishment means. Usually solves the problem in my house. Best rear climate control override there is.

But my question is how to lock out the rear controls. The kids feet alone hit the buttons.

Are you saying you don't know?

Not at all. This topic has been covered in this forum. The Owner's Manual and search engine here are your friend. For immediate results though, check pages 378 & 379 of main owner's manual. Pay particular attention to the upper right icon with two people.

The prerequisite for using these forums is not reading the owners manual first. If you don't wish to answer don't do so.

It's relatively rude to suggest the search engine. I suppose if it was my first post, perhaps it is good advice to educate me on how to use the search functionality of vBulletin forums. But since I'm not new, you could assume I know how to search, or provide me with a link instead of pointing the search or the manual.

BTW vBulletin is the absolutely most powerful forum software out there. No one can touch. Integration is easy, PHP language not familiar to all developers but still very open.

See attached image, the people icon is not visible. Perhaps I have a setting wrong.

Default You are on the wrong NAV page.

Please look at the manual on the pages I referenced, and make sure they line up with what you are posting. Your picture displays the wrong NAV Page. You need to be on the Climate page, not the Rear Climate page.

You are incorrect. The option for this is on the rear screen. Unfortunately I don't have that icon available.

See below image.

What's also strange is that I do have navigation and yet my Rear Auto button is in the middle not the left like the images suggest

Default Can't make a horse drink water...

If you won't help yourself by reading the manual, I can't help you either.

Good luck!

So you don't know why the people icon is missing from that page?

Looked at the manual and I don't have the people icon to lock out the rear controls either. Will have to ask when I take it in for 5K checkup

I tried to find the button in my '14 on the way home from work the other day after I read this thread. I can confirm also, I do not have it either.

Tried changing it from 3-zone to dual, thought that may have something to do with it. No change, no button on that screen that reflects what is in the manual.

My dealer is making an onsite visit this morning for a few issues. I will bring this up.

He tried this on several vehicles at his dealer and the same thing. He is contacting a Lexus Engineer on this.
