LS460L = LX570 in appointment.

Ride quality is going to be different since ones a BOF while the other is unibody

That being said, I prefer BOF on broken pavement over anything unibody since it glides over bumps like a boss

Not when you tow a boat every weekend for 15+ years which is one of the reasons I want one.

I stand corrected.

Wasn't saying you're wrong or anything , just that GX460 is a real truck, everything about it, (BOF, rear axle, full time 4WD with low range, etc.) which is a massive reason I want one so badly. If you regularly tow, a solid rear axle is the way to go for durability.

If the GX drives trucky that's fine with me bc I like that anyway and already drive a truck to begin with, the bonus is I know the usual Lexus refinement and luxury will be there.

Watching that video I posted makes me drool. Just that steering wheel alone is extremely bossy.

did you get a chance to test drive either one? the GX is not great on pot holes, I dont think even ls460 is- the 430 was better But that handled like a boat. I opted to get. the luxury GX because I wanted the smoothest ride I can get in a GX. I think its a tad better and we always have it in comfort mode. The GX is like a mini land crusier. The GX would probably hold its value better than a LS too.
Now saying all that LS is a pleasure to drive; if I had pick a car to drive for 10 hrs straight I would pick LS any day more comfy seats, more isolation and its pretty quick for a big car.

I understand one is flagship sedan vs bof SUV but can anybody that has both compare the two strictly on the air suspension, cabin noise, particularly wind noise, engine noise on road only, freeway, potholes, not off road. I am not interested in handling, canyon carving, acceleration, off-road etc just the ability to glide smoothly and sere isolation.
