3rd Row Seet Question
Do all 460s come with electric 3rd row seats? I'm thinking of switching over from a 4runner, but the electric 3rd row on the model I test drove seemed sort of ridiculous. Manual is so much faster and reliable. Plus you still had to do the headrest manually anyways, so it wasn't even just "push a button and you're done", but "futz with the headrest THEN push a button THEN wait, wait, wait, wait... ready". If it's the only option, then in combination with not being able to change the fan speed without going into the touch screen controls, it might be a deal killer for me.
Thanks!
Thanks!

2010-2013 has standard electric third row. 2014+ is only on the Luxury model to cut cost.

I think most of us leave them in the stowed position the majority of the time so we can have more cargo room. On my 2012 that I just got, it doesn't even look like they have ever been sat in. Hit them with some leather conditioner and leave em tucked away. Oh, don't worry about reliability... it's a Lexus!

I remember the electric 3rd seat was a big argument with my wife and I.
The models that had the power 3rd row were all like $15k+ more as they almost always had all the extra equipment that we didn't want, but my wife was convinced we needed the electric option. We got the manual and its been fine, we rarely use it anyway. So glad I didn't buy a loaded on for that feature.
I will say the manual one takes a few turns to get the hang of, it's a little awkward, but after a few times, it's quick and easy.
I'll definitely take that discount and I don't trust electric ones over the long haul. Also really slow.

I have the electric ones (on a 2015 Lux), and I've put the seats up once.... just to see if it worked.
It does, and I'll never use it again most likely. I need the cargo space vs the ability to carry 2 infants.

Its funny how most people get the GX460 because they want the third row seat option. That's why I purchased it. My wife wanted a 3rd row seat option just in case someone rides with us. All I know is that buying the GX460 enabled me to talk her out of getting a mini van. We only have 1 child, but you never know how many are going to pile in. So in my mind, I don't really care if I ever use the 3rd row seat. That one option gave me an alternative and kept me from having to drive around in a minivan when I take her car. Manual or electric, it doesn't matter to me. I could have probably done with just a plywood board with seatbelts and I probably would have bought it......

I used the electric a couple times showing friends the extra seats but have never raised them up again in months. It's definitely a feature I could live without. Normally the wife and I have all the seats down when we goto our cabin. Electric second row would have been more useful for my use :-)
