Biggest spare tire size?
I have a 2013 GX460 and want to put the biggest tires on that I can, yet still keep the spare tire in the stock location. Am I stuck using 265s, or can I get away with 275s?

I want to know the same thing! I've been searching the forums but haven't found a clear answer.
I was looking at BFG KO2s and might even switch to 17inch rims. Anybody know what the max size is?
I've heard also that it depends on the trailer hitch

There's been lots of discussion about this, and if you look under your truck you can confirm it for yourself. The stock tire size is the biggest you can fit on the spare UNDER the truck.
Of course you can always throw any size spare you want in the cargo area behind the 2nd row, or in a Yakima basket on the roof.

I believe the biggest size spare or wheel/tire size (by tire diameter and width without spacers) you can fit on the GX is 285/50/R20's, which have a diameter of 31.2 inches. This tire size works all the way around, including the spare, without issue. I have an OE towing hitch and it just barely clears it. If you go with a larger diameter tire, you will hit the hitch and will also rub against the rear axle. I will go take pictures of mine and update shorty.

those are nice looking wheels boss. Any rubbing issues. I know those wheels have 20mm offset so they would be in more to compensate for wider width.

Here's a link to the wheels in case anyone out there is interested in them. They are 20 inch Black Rhino Peak wheels wrapped in 285/50/R20 Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus tires.

Thank you! I don't have any rubbing issues at all. They just barely clear everything, and I am not running spacers or anything like that. Wheels and tires are one of those things that you just have to do some measuring and do the math to get just right.

i thought about changing the rims, but there is only one tire for that rim and the pirellis start acting up after 10 or 20 thousand miles. They dont wear well fyi.

T4Fun, I don't have all that many miles on these, so I guess we will see what happens. Good to know that tend to have issues. I think Bridgestone, Michelin, and a couple others also make tires that size.
GX460PREM, Oddly enough, I have a little bit of vibration between 60-70, but I am also missing a centering ring on one of them and I don't know if that is what is causing that issue or not.
