Here is another place in Saudi Arabia that has the 84970-60070 console switch for $196.64 + Unknown Shipping Cost

https://alaslia.com

They claim to have in stock.

Out of stock on 020

Acrad... Thank you for all your hard work and follow-thru to prove out this mod. You rock!

Just pull the trigger and ordered 859A1-60040 (Driving Support switch control computer). Hopefully, I should receive the module in a week.I have the 2016 GX460 Luxury /w Driver support. Going to install the module and do the zero point calibration. Will update everyone with the result.

Actually adding that module shouldn't require any resets it should be plug and play. You already have Driver Support so the big technical piece is already done. Whoever gets MTS working first on the '14+ will be trailblazer for the refresh models.... that is still untested but all data points to that being the module version that should work for '14+

Yeah was not sure about the reset. But will definitely swap out the module and give it a try first.

I'd pick up a trim and molding kit if you don't already have one. Anything to help avoid a potential scratch. Earlier in thread are some FSM example on how to remove most parts.

bbqsoup: Saw the Facebook post... hopefully this doesn't mean remaining stock of console switches are whatever is left in North Ameriacn Lexus dealer inventory.

PN: 84970-60070

Now have a report that Carmarka and Megazip have now told a person that order cancelled "because the manufacturer discontinued the part"

Hopefully just superseded by a newer PN

First, thanks a ton for blazing this trail! I’m the guy that had my
order cancelled by Megazip. I’m sure we’ll find another option!

Congrats on the huge find Acrad. Probably would not have been done without your research and the help of others. Welcome to the GXOR FB group btw, really active bunch. I just placed an order for the switches and the ecu through an US based dealership. Going to throw them into a 2010 base and will report back with my findings as soon as possible.

I haven't read your other thread fully but I'm interested. Are you gauging for a popularity count, or looking to source parts in volume?

I need more information. Yes I read over the DAC vs Crawl Control to see what all the hub-bub was about.
Total cost $ ??
Considering I'm not good at pulling dash parts, center console, and the Broomrider may NEVER take it offroad... I may have to pass.
You could put your access images, instruction set for ECU and switch replacement procedure, flash reset procedure into a pdf and market this as a "kit", it would be cool.

I'm anticipating this is like a $2,000 upgrade if ordered NEW on a GX??
Otherwise, I'd stomp all over that "HELL YES I'm interested!" poll option!

If you order the "Drive Support Package" from Lexus, it is $4700 option. For US, you get Crawl Control, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, Pre-collision Warning, Wideview Front Camera, Passenger Side Camera. However, you do not get the MTS and Driver Side Camera. Those options are available for Canadian market, as well as other world market. Don't ask me why Lexus does the way it is for US market, largely because we probably had too much of ambulance chasing lawyers, no manufacture wants to carry unnecessary liabilities.

Interested in MTS and DS camera! Also interested in the Canadian market center console cooler box!

I have an 11', with every possible USDM option, in case anyone needs me to be a mule/take photos.

How so? I've spent a lot of time in 4Lo with the GX in some off camber/rocky situations and I never noticed bad throttle response when crawling.

I'm interested in seeing how much benefit it adds stock vs stock before I consider it. It is awesome to see guys paving the way for a newer platform, its only going to make it more fun to keep modding down the road.

It was more as a popularity count for the options.

GB2011GX: I kinda lucked out on parts costs. The 020 for MTS with shipping was $123.17. The console 070 for CC was $272.14. Hopefully some got the Megazip deal before they ran out of stock.

I haven't driven with it on like this but looks like MTS "MUD & SAND" or snow for that matter can be run in 4H. I haven't tried turning on at speed but seems to be the only mode that doesn't require 4L and can apparently be used above 7 MPH unlike the other modes according to what I have seen in 4Runner forums.
