Nickk6: I must have missed it... do you have any pics of the install of the BudBuilts? I'm thinking of buying a set.
Ended up seeing another sale at Budbuilt and went for those since I missed the black Friday sale at RCI. So $1,800 shipped for 1/4" aluminum, it was about $575 over RCI, but I assumed I'd spend half that in time messing with the RCI kit getting it fitted. Its a long wait now, probably won't see it till sometime January 2018, but I still need my roof rack and RTT before doing a Utah trip next year.

I am also interested in this as well, how did it go? I just finished the bud built hidden winch and it required some modification to get it to work with the 460. Skids are on the list after I do a lift.

Ordered December 7th, estimated ship date is still TBD. It sounds like I'm the guinea pig on this one and they don't have anyone to test them out. I'm a bit annoyed at this point since its slowly becoming something I need, especially as the factory one becomes more thrashed.

Just ordered the BudBuilt gas tank skid. They said bolt right up so we'll see. I got the heavier steel and powder coated black. That exposed area on the gas tank has always concerned me. Also in-stock and ready to ship.

7-10 day delay for the power coating. I know lots of debate of using loctite versus anti-seize. I used anti-seize on my quad skids and never had any bolts back out so that is what I am going to use on my GX. Here is a good chart for show reduced torque ratings on bolts that are oiled/plated in one way or the other.

I noticed I slightly dented my front one from Saturday's exploits. I'll probably be replacing it with a full set of underside plates soon. Funny how a little mishap sets the dominoes in motion. I'm starting to think harder and harder for sliders as well. I'm gonna keep my stock adjustable suspension for now so will need to rely on some larger tires to raise up what little that does.

Looks like the C4 gas tank skid fits the 460.

Guy over on GXOR has one on his '12 or '13.

I've seen some with C4 sliders retrofit underside LED lighting... anyone else done that with other vendors? I haven't really looked at logistics of doing this on all brands but will be an important consideration for me. I truly find the underside lighting a functional item.

Did you get a tracking #?
I'm still being told they can't confirm fitment for the GX460. I'm trying to decide if I should just tell them to ship as is since its Aluminum it won't be hard to modify some minor fitment issues or to just get a refund. My factory skid is after all still hanging on
