Lightbulb Leveling kits

Did some searching, both on here and google, and didnt come up with much. I see the 4runner parts are supposed to work, but not 100% sure. Im not looking for a lift (front and rear), all i really want is to bring the front up a little to match the rear and level the suspension out. Does such a kit exist? I assume all it really is, is front spacers for the struts. Can anyone point be in the right direction? Thanks!

Your supension doesn't match, not level?

Every so slightly... i feel like there is more rear fender gap than front fender gap...

That being said, what are the options for a 1-2 inch lift? If that exists... I had a level kit on my Tundra (2 inch rear, 3 inch front).. had a great look.

if your on a luxury you have rear air suspension only. The only way to level out the rear would be to go for a lift kit with the desired swap from an non air GX, FJ, 4 Runner etc. However its not common, at least not yet.

Mine is just the Premium, so no rear air suspension.

I'm almost certain that the 5th gen lifts and spacers will fit the current GX460. The only issue that we as a majority need to be careful of is the KDSS (on all 2nd gen GX models) and for the minority would be the rear air suspension (not every model... Luxury for MY 14-17... not sure what it was called for years 10-13.) The Trail Edition 4Runners (2010- current have KDSS) If you wanted a definite answer, you could give Metal Tech 4x4 or Slee Offroad a call.

There were a few people that have went with spacer lifts. Probably the most economical in terms of cost, but not the best in terms of performance. You could go with Bilstein 5100 or something similar that Toytec or OME makes.

Here are a few links that I've saved for my (hopeful) future build project that might help you.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...60-thread.html (post 28 and beyond have some good information about the spacer lifts)
https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/gui...thread.953424/ (current 4Runner and GX/Prado information forum... This forum is not as busy as the previous GX/4Runner generation 120 series)
https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/gx4...thread.816590/
https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/201...lifted.930801/ (OME BP51 information $$$$$)
https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/gx460-lifts.903952/ (this one should be very informative)
https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/11-gx460-lift.825635/
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-ge...ers-guide.html (Very nicely done roundup of suspension upgrades from the 5th gen 4Runner website)
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-ge...-question.html (Bilstein 5100)

Your best bet might be with the Bilstein 5100. They do have a different model, Bilstein 6112, but I haven't read up on that too much. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-ge...-released.html

The 5th gen 4Runner forum is busy with a bunch of daily posts. I wish the current GX had that kind of following, but the entry costs for this vehicle make it somewhat prohibitive. Hopefully it'll be busier in the next few years as the prices come down in the second and third hand market. Similar to current situation for the previous generation GX 470 (lifts, bumpers, sliders, armor, roof racks etc.)

Any 5G T4R level/lift kit will fit a GX460. If you have the rear airbags and want to lift the rear, you will need a conversion kit like the one MetalTech sells. I currently have Bilstein 5100's up front and OME 10mm spacer in the rear. It rides the same if not better than stock, but if you plan on wheeling, the 5100's are known to fail. I'm most likely going to be replacing with Ironman Foam Cell Pro's. They offer a fully rebuild-able front coil overs.

If you do not have adjustable front struts you can add a spacer off the fjc or 4th & 5th gen 4Runner.

What position do you set on the 5100 to make it level? Any pics?

I used to have a 2012 4Runner. I upgraded the front shocks with Bilstein 5100s with factory coils. Used the second notch to level with rear.
If you choose to lift it to its full height you will need a 1.5" spacer for the rear.
www.metaltech4x4.com will have most parts for the gx. You can also call them. They are one of the only companies making aftermarket parts for the gx.

I put mine on the second notch from the bottom, which is for 0.85". It netted me closer to a full inch. I had a slightly negative rake with that set up and then added the OME 10mm spacer to level it back out. I'm about to take it all out and put in Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pros, which are a full coilover up front. If you plan on wheeling your rig on Bilstein 5100's I wouldn't recommend going any higher than the second notch. The 5100's have a bad reputation of failing at higher notches when wheeling hard. Just google bilstein 5100 failure.

I looked for a leveling kit and couldn't find anything.
My local 4x4 shop said my best options were:
1. Daystar 2.5 front 1 rear
or
2. Ready Lift 3 front 2 rear

I decided to go with the ready lift 3/2. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Now I just need to figure out how to adjust headlights down.

Default What is the best front leveling spacer for 2013 GX460

Been reading and doing research for months on a leveling kit for the wife's 2013 460. There's just so many products and possible mods to choose from... This will be just a basic quick change until the vehicle is free and clear of payments.(Then we'll talk metal-tech bumpers and full suspension swaps) What is the best solution to level the stance this weekend?
