#Satelite radio ???
14+ has traffic at no charge.... should be "lifetime". Until they decide it's outdated or EOL'd.
Regarding satellite radio.... I don't find it as a necessity (spotty coverage and sub-par sound). Bluetooth with a subscription to spotify, pandora, etc. works well. Some of those talk channels are specific to satellite radio, but I don't listen to them anyways. I'm sure there are streams online that can be listened to using bluetooth.

I am paying around $4/month for XM nav traffic. Works on my routes but understand dropping if not very useful in your location.

Always haggle the price and threaten that you don't really need satellite radio because, and give reasons like: you have Pandora, Spotify or what ever reason you want to give to make them think you'll cancel/not renew unless they give a better price.
You shouldn't be paying more than $10.00/mo for it.

Renewal came up at $247.84 for what should be a basic package that I went with last time. I called and was offered $120 for a premium package with online streaming, I said I only need minimum service and got it for $72.84. Every year with this

Hello everyone. I have a 2014 GX 460 and it is getting an error when I try to connect to XM. Says “Ck antenna”. I’m sure this has been discussed at some point but I couldn’t find anything in the forum when I searched, so I apologize in advance if it has already been addressed.
also, where is the connection made from the antenna to the XM receiver in the car located? Under dash etc?

There hasn't been any work done to the shark fin/roof. I will try the radio reset you suggested and let you know the results.
Just an update if anyone else is searching for this issue. It appears as though the sharkfin was it at some point in the past. There are scuffs on the roof and one small cut on the sharkfin (still superficial). Our Lexus dealer took at look at the "CK Antenna" error and made sure that it was plugged in, etc. in the main unit and it is. They are wanting to replace the Sharkfin and do some body work to the roof potentially, since there is some scuffing.
