Well just keep an eye on your charges, they ask a question if you agreed to their terms and services and you say you agree, part of their terms are automatic billing to your CC when renewal time comes up. I belong to a couple of other forums and that's one of the biggest complaints, they change your card even if you say no then it's a fight to get your money back, been there, done that.

I have tried that with no success. I think results may vary depending on the data entry from the employee you are dealing with. Overall this is the most frustrating company to deal with so you will spend time every year to lower the rate.
I canceled once and received multiple emails and constant phone calls.
I had a conversation with the last lady that called me that turned into an argument about I use my iPod more than Sirius. "oh you can spend money to download songs, you must be doing well". Yes I am, stop calling me was my response......I did not get any calls after that.

Never had that problem and have been using XM since 2006. I do call for a better rate each year.
I have it in both vehicles and on my I Phone as well.

I have been lazy and let it renew annually until today. I received an email that stated my basic music subscription will be $157 so I called and got Navigation traffic added for $117 for one year. I know some have mentioned that traffic updates are behind real time but thought I would try it.

NavTraffic should be $3.99/month. Here is an example of my monthly billing.

Unfortunately for the '10-'13 they have to pay the Sirius XM ransom until some future aftermarket head unit comes around. Promising to see the unit for 470

i was told by the dealer traffic was free, did they lie? will i have to keep the SAT subscription to keep the traffic?
i am still in the trial period for a few more weeks. i am not all that impressed so far. the stations repeat quite a bit and every little overpass blocks the reception.

Fairly sure as hzhao stated it is free via HD Radio traffic on '14+

You are correct. Starting '14 and on, HD radio as part of standard equipment for GX, which provides free traffic and weather services for most of US cities.
