I put these on without reading the instructions, one side I tried putting the brackets on then aligning the visor, and then pulling the tape off, was a major pain to get the clips to 'click' the other side, I put the clips on the visor, then slid the clips into place, already clicked in, and removed the tape - this was so much easier and didn't require a whole lot of effort. Both sides had the desired outcome. Bad photo, as I was taking photos of the roofrack, but you can see its lined up, and this was the second side. 2 minutes per versus what seemed like 15 minutes per on the driver side.

Default Just another option

I like those Prado Vents. I'm also considering these as well.

For me sleeping in the car these may make more sense to keep the bugs out.

So you just clipped them on the visor, and then hinged them under the rubber door seal? These clips are a pain in the *** lol

Also wondering about your procedure, @gregGX . Would love to see your translated directions @SEELEXUS !

Did anyone use a heat gun / hair dryer like the instructions seem to suggest? Surprised there is not a file in English available somewhere.

How are the visors / adhesive holding up for those that have installed? @esonu @Siblue

Not super helpful, I know, but I don't really remember, I just know that I attached the hooks to the visor, on the second side, before putting them on, and it took 1/5th the time as the side where I tried to line up the clips where they 'should' go and then get the visor to line up to that. Maybe I put them on wrong, but they've not blown off at highway speeds, so that's good. I do remember i just barely started peeling the adhesive backing off, and then pulled it completely off once installed.

@Siblue I'll look for the google translated instructions - will have to email them to you. I would tell you that the translation is not precise and some of the phrasing is awkward.

I did not use a heat gun / hair dryer during my installation. The instructions made it look more complex than it really was (to install).

Thanks for the tips @Siblue , @gregGX , and @SEELEXUS . Probably a false alarm on my part! I did my best to translate the directions, but it was pretty straightforward once you see what you’re working with. I went with the @gregGX method and added the clips to the visors, fastened the clips to the truck, and removed the adhesive backing to stick them on.

Super happy with them! Really clean look + have worked great so far. Watched a few install videos for some of the cheaper / non-oem options and am glad I sprung for the good stuff!

Can anyone comment on how much noise these add? I've had OEM visors on my other Lexus sedans and the noise was always tolerable. I have some Chinese knock offs on my Honda commuter and the wind noise is atrocious.

I haven't noticed any extra wind noise from the visors.

No added noise I’ve noticed. My only added noise is my Rhino Rack platform.

Those look nice. I’ve got the adhesive ones on mine but don’t recall who made them. Had purchased some Weathertech ones when I first got it and I returned them as they were so tight I could not get the windows to close without triggering the mechanism that keeps the windows from cutting things in two. Have had them on for about 3 years now and with more than 100 car washes under their belt. I prefer leave windows cracked to allow ventilation when parked outside in the summer. They blend in with the tinted windows too.

These are the ones I have from a better vantage point. Many car washes and no issues. These were eBay If I recall correctly and just adhesive, no clips.

Off topic question but do you know if the door belt molding from the land cruiser will work on our GX 460 as well? Looking to switch out the chrome for black
