There are a few for the 5th gen 4runner you may be able to adapt. Google search for a 4runner, sure it will come up in one of their forums.

front receiver hitch

im thinking of adding a front receiver hitch. Ive seen a gx470 that used a drawtite brand and it worked but im still looking for more info.
has anyone seen a 460 with a front receiver hitch? or have any info on which to purchase and what is involved?
so far what ive seen is that some kits will say don't work but its only because of the front tie down angles not matching oem.

Is this intended to be used for towing the vehicle? Just curious, I don't own an RV but assume this is what the community typically does for all those Jeeps and other light SUV's I see tagging along behind them with kayaks and bikes all over them.

I did order one of those above. Due to a bit lower front installation would at a minimum require cutting a hole under the front license plate installation location. there was also a slight issue with the adapter section to go from the old tie down points to the new points. I've plasma cut the hitch into pieces but haven't worked on it since. Plan is to rebuild it in a way that it will fit nicely without cutting into the bumper cover.
