With recently updated “Lsailt CarPlay/Android Auto” module, it has also included ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System), which is a passive driving aids for LDW, FCW, Stop Go, meaning it won’t assist breaking, but to provide warnings to driver. It is basically an AI imaging process along with vehicle speed information to determine its position and distance to the objects. I have read some articles in the past and this is the time that I had opportunity to try it. Installation is fairly easy, You need the Lsailt add-on module plus a calibrated USB camera (currently Lsailt only offer one type), connect the camera to one of the USB port on the module, a quick setup to identify the car center view point based on where you mounted camera. The rest of are done automatically by the system. The camera also serves as dash cam, and you can view the recording on the center screen. The ADAS runs in background, which provide audio warning when it determined a possible safety issue. It’s an interest concept and does provide fairly accurate information. For long distance travel, it could be beneficial. Here are some photos and a short clip as the ADAS in action.

There are certain limitations with GX compare many newer platform. However there is still some can be done. I am currently working with Lsailt (not as employee) to explore adding direct TPMS display on the Lsailt unit, in principle, just need to extract the data from CAN and built an overlay UI to the display. Will see how this will turn out.
how did you get the adas system activated? currently installed everything, but the system shows deactivated.
You will need a certified camera and activation code. Assumed you have the Lsailt system, they have one camera available that is calibrated and certified with the system. When you purchased camera, it will come with the activation key code.
