Where to get and install remote starter for 2018 GX 460?

Not not sure which level of 2018 you have but you might want to try and see if your remote will start your car.

It's three presses on door lock button whilst holding the third press....for awhile

It's pretty alward but does work, should see hazard lights flash then hear engine start.

For me the range is only good enough to use when starting in my driveway or my garage it's a bit superfluous in a parking lot as you'll likely be in your car by the time it automatically starts.

Let me know if this works. Otherwise I use the doomed lexus auto start from the mobile app ($150) it's may, but works

 

I think the auto start is only good for warming up the car. But for some people that's enough. I don't like the fact that when I open the door, it kills the engine but I understand that it's a "safety" thing.

I have never used the remote start on my 2020, asides from testing it. But I'll probably keep paying for it, just in case I need it.

I had the idatastart installed on my GX and coded to my lexus remote with the 3x lock process. Same distance as the lexus remote. Only crappy part as those that have stated is that it turns off when you open a door. Still great for warming up the car in the winter as it is parked outside.
